Exporting your recipes

We know that signing up for a service like Recipe Tamer requires a big commitment of your time to get all your recipes loaded in. We hope you’ll love Recipe Tamer and want to stay forever, but you should never be locked in to using any service just because it’s too hard to start over again somewhere else.

Recipe Tamer therefore allows you to export your recipes at any time. The export includes all of your recipes, notes, and attachments, in a format that can be used by other sites or programs to import the data (we currently support XML and JSON). You can also hang on to the export yourself if you want the peace of mind that comes from a good backup that you control.

To export your data, head over to the Export section of your account.
