Importing recipes from Cook'n

If you have been using Cook'n software to organize your recipes and would like to switch to Recipe Tamer instead, we can import all your recipes from Cook'n so you don't have to start over.

Exporting from Cook'n

First you need to export your recipes from Cook'n. To do this:

1. In Cook'n, select the cookbook, chapter, or recipe that you want to export.
2. Go to the File menu and choose Export, then HTML.
3. Cook'n will export your recipe(s) and show a message telling you which folder the files were saved to.
4. Go to the export folder (from step 3). Select all of the files in the folder and add them to a ZIP file (also known as a compressed folder or archive).

Note: Each time you export, Cook'n will add the files to the same folder without removing the files from your previous export.

E-mail your ZIPped export files to us at help@recipetamer.com. We'll load the recipes into your account for you.
