Importing recipes from The Recipe Manager

If you have been using The Recipe Manager software to organize your recipes and would like to switch to Recipe Tamer instead, we can import all your recipes from The Recipe Manager so you don't have to start over.

Exporting from The Recipe Manager

First you need to export your recipes from The Recipe Manager. Unfortunately that software does not allow you to export all your recipes at once, so you will have to do them one at a time:

1. In The Recipe Manager, select the recipe to export.
2. Go to the File menu and choose Export, then pick the Plain Text option. Pick a folder for your exports, and click OK to export the recipe.
3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 for the rest of your recipes.
4. Once you have exported all the recipes, add them all to a ZIP file (also known as a compressed folder or archive).

Importing to Recipe Tamer

E-mail your ZIPped export files to us at help@recipetamer.com. We'll load the recipes into your account for you.
